Eastport Cub Scouts help out the SPCA

The Wolf Scouts of Pack 153 affiliated with St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Eastport helped the SPCA of Anne Arundel Country celebrate Thanksgiving a few days early this year.

As part of their work in earning their Wolf rank, the boys visited the SPCA animal shelter on Bay Ridge Avenue earlier in the fall. They learned about the important things the SPCA does to help protect stray animals and learned how to take care of pets properly. The Scouts were so impressed with the SPCA's work that they decided to "adopt" the organization and help them through the Scouting "Good Turn for America" project.
